I just remembered the other day that there was a girl, who I shall not name but bitch is like…short. Like Snookie short. But I remembered that one day Sophomore year of college I was talking to her because she was with some other people I used to hang with (who a lot of now are sort of shit but that’s for another time) and was I like “Hey girl, let’s go get pizza at Transmet.” Girl is all “Oh what’s that?” and I’m like “You know, Transmetropolitan.” For you non-Athens people, Trannymet is a super popular and well known pizza/bar place downtown and our campus is like, right across from downtown and you know some poor college students go to get pizza 5 nights out of the week at least once. So she’s all “Oh, is that downtown?” and I’m like, “Yeah, girl, it’s just 3 blocks from your dorm,”** and SHE goes “Oh, I’ve never been downtown.”
YOU GUYS. SHE DID NOT GO DOWNTOWN FOR TWO YEARS. THAT IS LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE IN ATHENS. SHE LIVED 3 BLOCKS FROM DOWNTOWN, WHERE THERE ARE MOVIES, COFFEE, PIZZA, NOT TO EVEN BRING DRINKING INTO THE EQUATION. ITS JUST WHAT YOU DO TO SURVIVE HERE.
Anyway, what a dumb bitch.
